Insurance & Payment
Whenever possible, we will assist you in optimizing the benefits available under your policy. As a courtesy to you, our office will submit and track your claims to your insurance carrier. Most companies now offer electronic submission (EDI) to expedite claim processing, allowing payments to be issued within 30 days.
Please keep us informed of any insurance changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be.
We accept all major credit cards Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover and both cash and check.
We are preferred providers for the following PPOs:
- Aetna
- Blue Cross (no longer accepting new patients)
- Cigna (no longer accepting new patients)
- Delta Dental
- Humana (no Medicare plans for Humana accepted)
- Principal
- Sunlife/DHA
- UNUM/Colonia Life/Starmount
Financing

Estimates & Financial Responsibility
PLEASE NOTE: PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME OF SERVICE
When extensive treatment is planned, we will send a detailed estimate or pre-determination to the insurance carrier(s) involved. In most cases, the response is sent to the insured/employee within 2-3 weeks. Please note that for privacy reasons, the insurer must inform and communicate with you as its client – not with the dental office.
Your insurance plan is a contract between you and the insurance carrier/your employer. As such, you are responsible for your account, not the insurance carrier. We ask that you provide our front desk team with your policy numbers and coverage information, and inform us of any changes to your current dental insurance policy and personal information.
